Chris Matthieu on Polyglot Ruby Applications

Chris recently wrote a private iOS mobile app called Buzz for Bechtel using Ruby, Sinatra, Phono (VoIP), jQuery Mobile, and PhoneGap. He will talk about the process of building such a polyglot application.

Chris Matthieu

Chris Matthieu (@chrismatthieu) works for Bechtel "Bechtel is among the most respected engineering, procurement, and construction companies in the world" (http://www.bechtel.com). He has over a decade of speech and telephony experience. Chris worked previously at Voxeo joining  through the acquisition of his startup, Teleku (http://teleku.com), he was been extensively involved in Voxeo's next generation cloud communications platform, Tropo (http://tropo.com), and its Javascript Phone API, Phono (http://phono.com), and its SMS REST API, SMSified (http://smsified.com).
